These terms apply to newyorkchatline.com and the NewYorkChatLine phone chat service. By calling or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who Can Use NewYorkChatLine
You must be 18 or older to use the chat line. The service is for personal use only. Please give accurate details when asked for access or a purchase.
How the Service Works
You can record a greeting, listen to other callers, send voice messages, and request live chats. Other callers choose whether to respond. We do not promise a reply, a set number of callers, or any kind of relationship.
Our chat lines focus on New York City and the metro area, but we cannot verify every caller's age, identity, or location.
Caller Conduct
Everyone has the right to say no or end a chat. You agree not to:
- •Harass, threaten, or keep contacting someone who has declined to talk.
- •Pretend to be someone else, run scams, or ask other callers for money.
- •Share another person's private information or record their calls without permission.
- •Advertise, spam, or collect caller information for business use.
- •Allow anyone under 18 to use the service or share illegal content.
Press 8 to block a caller and press 8 again to flag them. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Free Trial Minutes and Packages
Women chat for free. Men get 30 free trial minutes as new callers. Your phone carrier may still charge standard rates.
After your free trial minutes, you can buy a package to keep chatting. Please review the price and included minutes before you pay.
Refunds
All purchases of chat time are final. We do not offer refunds on purchased time, except where the law requires it.
Your Greeting and Messages
You are responsible for the greetings and messages you record. You retain ownership of your content and allow us to store and play it as needed to run the service.
Service Availability
The line is open 24/7, but maintenance or outages can happen. We may change or pause parts of the service at any time.
Limitation of Liability
Callers are responsible for what they say and do. NewYorkChatLine is not responsible for the actions of other callers on or off the line, to the extent allowed by law.
Governing Law
All terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as and when required.
